Was Kevin Mark Powell + Steve Adams’ Suspected Killer Living With Them?

View more news videos at: http://www.nbcmiami.com/video.

Police still aren’t revealing how or when Wilton Manors couple Kevin Mark Powell and Steve Adams were killed in their home, but Kevin’s sister Crystal Kicklighter insists their suspected murderer Peter Serge Avsenew had moved in with them before they were killed, something Crystal says she advised her brother against. Avsenew was supposedly brought in to after Kevin’s double organ transplant a few months ago, to care for their home. Police aren’t saying much on the matter. Crystal, citing little evidence, says she believes the double homicide was a hate crime, with the couple targeted for their sexuality. Moreover, she insists a recent Facebook photo of her brother shows he was “in pain” and was “crying out” for help before his death.

Just say NO! If a heterosexual person gives you a sob story and wants help say NO. If you say yes you are headed down a dark road. Kevin Mark Powell and Steve Adams are just the latest gay people to be killed after they thought they would be saviors to a “down on his/her luck” heterosexual. I have no doubt the heterosexual killer told them about how difficult it was to get his life back on track after leaving prison and the responsiblity of a girlfriend and child. When gay people stop serving heterosexuals like we owe them anything then you know change has arrived. There are tons of honest, worthy homeless gay people who deserve second chances. Why don’t gay people help our oppressed instead of foolishly trying to help someone from the oppressor class, heterosexuals? Although the police haven’t released how the couple was killed, from past anti-gay crimes it’s likely they were stabbed countless times.

@ForeverGay: idk. I was born to and raised by two heterosexual people who took great care of me and have been pretty good to me so far. It might be possible NOT to group them all together.
