WATCH: A Hot ‘N’ Sweaty Happy Birthday To Olivia Newton-John
Olivia Newton-John, the best thing to come out of Australia besides Kylie Minogue and bloomin’ onions, turns 63 years young today. We were knee-high to a grasshopper the first time we saw the video for her song “Physical.” The gay icon was breaking out of her Grease good-girl period and, since it was the dawn of the body-conscience ’80s, a gym scene was right on trend. (And the gay twist ending stirred something in us we wouldn’t be able to pinpoint for some time to come.)
Happy birthday, Olivia. We’re still hopelessly devoted to you.
