WATCH: ABC Family Premieres Trailer For LGBT-Themed Drama “The Fosters”

The ABC Family Drama featuring “a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms” will finally make it to your living room this summer. “The Fosters,” produced by and guest starring Jennifer Lopez, released the first series trailer exclusively through GLAAD yesterday.

From GLAAD:

“The Fosters will join several other LGBT-inclusive series on ABC Family, including Pretty Little Liars, which features out couple Emily Fields and Paige McCullers (Shay Mitchell, Lindsay Shaw). Additionally, The Secret Life of the American Teenager recently featured a late-in-life coming out story for Anne Juergens (Molly Ringwald), as well as recurring out characters Nora Underwood (Anne Ramsay) and Anne’s girlfriend Willadean (Diane Farr).  ABC Family is one of only two networks to have ever received an “excellent” score in GLAAD’s Network Responsibility Index, which measures the quality and quantity of LGBT-inclusive programming on television.”

“The Fosters” will premiere on ABC Family on Monday, June 3 at 9pm/8c.

I wonder if they do this on purpose to counter having to run The 700 Club.

Let’s just hope there’s as much story as there is theme because sorry, but if the show sucks I don’t care what the theme is, I’m watching something else online. lol
