Besides being one of our favorite straight allies, Benedict Cumberbatch is a fine actor. For proof look no further than his recent win for best TV detective for this performance in the much-worshipped BBC series Sherlock. The British thesp was in L.A. when the U.K. National Television Awards were presented so he accepted his honor via satellite.
“Hello from LA … I’m over the moon,” the actor said. “I can’t tell you what this means. This is a vote by the public and you are the people that have made this the success of what it is. It’s a real, real, real thrill and I wish I was there to pick up the award in person.”
But being the cheeky Brit heartthrob that he is, Cumberbatch accepted his NTA wearing only half of his suit. Watch the video below to see what the Sherlock star had on below the waist.
PRINCE OF SNARKNESS aka DIVKID
And the best queeny opening of an envelope in an award show award goes to… Kiefer Sutherland.
Am I the only one who think he pings? Why only now do I realise it?

Would have been funnier in a Speedo or boxers.

@SteveDenver: The joke was that he’s left wintery London for sunny LA and wears shorts and enjoys the pool daily.
