WATCH: Cute Man Sings Cute Song to Cute Dog; Everyone Feels Better

Ugh, was your week as long and as grueling as ours? Let’s assume it was. But feast your eyes on this sweet gay dude singing along to Emmylou’s “First Aid Kit” with his dog. At the end of a punishing week, shouldn’t we all be so lucky as to be gathered up in a man’s arms and serenaded? Or to have someone waiting for us at home who will lie calmly in our arms while we swing them about?

The singing human is Zack Rosen, former editor of the late, lamented blog The New Gay—and the guy who famously exposed himself to win a NetRoots scholarship. The dog, who is technically exposing itself in the video, is Neko.

Now go find an animal to sing to so you’ll be fresh-faced and ready to greet whatever outrages are waiting for you back at the office on Monday.
