Grabbing the hateful, greasy bull by the horns—er, wings—three drag queens are tackling the mutual hatred between the gays and a certain fast-food franchise in a spoof of Wilson Phillips’ “Hold On” called “Chow Down (at Chick-Fil-A).”
Willam Belli, who’s currently getting under the other queens’ skin on RuPaul’s Drag Race, is joined here by fellow West Coast. performers Detox Icunt and Vicky Vox. Leave it to three sexpot, junk-food-hungry drag queens to show us that one of the most fitting ways to address Chick-Fil-A’s longstanding disrespect of the gay community is with laughter.
Some of the best lines in this hilarious song: “After taking some dudes from behind, all we want to score is… chicken ‘n’ fries,” and “Please don’t sue us for libel; We just want a little meat without your Bible.”
Don’t think the gals are endorsing Chick-Fil-A, though. They, and we, want you to steer clear of the Christian chain and go to some other artery-clogging fried-chick joint instead.
Y’know, Popeye’s and KFC don’t make egregious donations to anti-gay causes. And their mascots are real people.
That can’t be Willam – I didn’t hear him say ‘I was on Sex & The City’ or ‘I’ve been on every cop show on the air’ anywhere in that.

@DouggSeven: i was on S&tC and lotsa cop shows. Happy? WILLAM
·
That was an awesome clip. It definitely made my afternoon.
·
I don’t know. It almost came across a little too pro-jesus clucker.
·
Hilarious song; I wonder what the head honchos at that dreaded chicken eatery are saying.
·
It’s myopically selfish to suggest people eat at Popeye and KFC what with the diabetes and the abuse of chickens, etc. Share the earth.
·
I imagine the gurls would get sued for breach of contract if they spoiled the show. That said, I’m ever so curious.
·
This is hilarious. But I hope nobody takes it as gays endorsing this horrible chain. Haven’t eaten there in 6 years, and won’t ever again.
·
“Someday somebody’s gonna make ya wanna gobble up a waffle fry”
Fucking hilarious, I can’t get enough!
·
You know that looks like Jason from the Pit Crew in the back there! This is brilliant! Nice touch wearing the beard Willam :)

That was better than I was expecting it to be. The rap may have been the best part, which made it a hybrid of “Hold On” and “Waterfalls”. I couldn’t quite understand all the words though, oh well.
