Friend of Queerty Justin Violini has discovered a new muse in Jordan Torres, a rugby player/model from the Boogie Down. Above, check out “Jordan Torres: The Bronx’s Fly Half”, a short doc from Violini in which the doe-eyed 18-year-old discusses how he learned rugby because there was no basketball team in his high school, his tragic youth and his goal to play in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Hooray, love Rugby [particularly league as I’m a season pass holder for a team here in the UK and have been for 23 of my 27 years] so its great too see the game as a whole expanding into other parts of the world.
Looking at playing 7’s in the Olympics is an excellent way to go, probably best to push into the US on the back of the 7’s style matches as they’re the fastest paced rugby on offer and a great change of pace from the horrible American Football. Hopefully it catches on all over.

I don’t get it.
what’s “gay-related” about this?
and yes, people DO come to queerty for gay news, gay gossip and gay whatnot…
if the film-maker/photographer is the “gay element” in this, then why not have an interview with HIM instead?

Nice kid and seems to have a good head on this shoulders. He’ll go far.

@MikeE: Oh silly MikeE, the kid is cute, therefore, it is automatically a gay-interest story; or so it would appear as this is done throughout all of gay media, not just Queerty. So no matter that the focus of a gay-oriented media outlet is stories about cute, hot or sexy guys, no matter their orientation, will always be a part of “relevant” gay journalism.
MikeE
@TheMarc: ah well, pardon my naïveté. I guess I should know better.
