Even before French President Francoise Hollande signed same-sex marriage into law earlier this year, making France the 14th nation in the world to legalize same-sex marriage, gay couples were finding creative ways to tie the knot.
Google just released this ad featuring several same-sex French couples who utilized Google Hangout to get married. Through the magic of video chat, and a friendly Belgium mayor/officiate, the couples were able to publicly declare their love and tie the knot.
The advertisement is so cute it almost makes us forgive Google for that whole government spying thing. (Key word: almost.)

I thought same-sex marriage had been legalized in France, but this ad is about French people having to get married over the internet by someone in Belgium. Strange.
