WATCH: J. Lo Tearfully Recollects Late Gay Aunt, Inspiration Behind New Sitcom

Jennifer Lopez sat down with the eternally handsome Rob Marciano (who we have been openly stalking since his days as a CNN weatherman) of Entertainment Tonight to discuss her new ABC Family sitcom, The Fosters, as well as the inspiration behind it, her late aunt:

“I had an aunt who was gay. I lived with her and I loved her. She just passed away from cancer. I thought of her often when I was thinking about taking on this project and the prejudices that she faced. She was so, so much a part of my life.”
