James Franco, who is being roasted on Monday, stars in a new film, Palo Alto, directed by Gia Coppola.
The film is actually an adaptation of a short story written by the actor. Palo Alto tells the extremely uncomfortable coming of age story about multiple teens in high school. Franco plays the football coach who takes an inappropriate interest in Emma Roberts.
Watch the trailer for the film, which made debut at the Telluride Film Festival over the weekend. Keep an eye out for Val Kilmer who makes a cameo appearance in the film and is also the father of one of the actors, Jack Kilmer.
