It’s a party for Boy George in Mark Ronson’s video for “Somebody To Love Me,” directed by Saam Farahmand, and penned by Jake Shears, Cathy Dennis, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt, which is about as gay as you can make a music video without a George Michael cameo.
I quite like the song, but the video is annoying with all the sound effects blocking out the music!
Had to stop after a minute!!!

Wow, I’ve only READ about the early 80′s. Everyone’s hair sucked!
·
disagree fully….love the song…even more the video. something very beautiful and sad about it.
·
Isn’t the point of a video to get people to appreciate the song? All the background noise and screaming is taking away from the song.
Also, the guy in the video is nothing like George. He acts all effeminate and sweet. George is butch and aggressive.
It seems like feel sorry for George, he’s an innocent victim video. He’s an abusive bully.
·
ummm in the 80′s he was effeminate and well i don’t know about the sweet part… its a fair representation… fer chrissakes just watch the Karma Chameleon video !
·
Beautiful.
George has an amazing voice. Hope this does well.
·
Dunno…the music and video do fight to be in front, but Boy stands out like a beautiful alien- I owe him a huge thanks for coming out; my parents had gay friends and when I came out at 14, it really wasn’t a negative deal at all. I sent this vedo to my mom. She loves Boy George/Culture Club!

I dig it.
