WATCH: Neil Patrick Harris Talks About Tucking His Angry Inches For “Hedwig”

For his future Tony-winning role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway, Neil Patrick Harris admitted he was nervous about performing in drag to Conan O’Brien. He’s considering shaving his eyebrows — an old drag queen trick — instead of gluing them down every night and casually mentions duct taping his “weiner” — another old drag queen trick. Conan, however, realizes those tricks aren’t for kids when he tells NPH the act of getting the tape off is what separates the gurls from the queens.

As if that wasn’t enough genital talk, NPH also talks about gay husband butt-honking with his significant other David Burtka and Elton John and David Furnish. Apparently between gay dudes, “it’s a normal thing.”

He has a very masculine facial structure. I wonder if the makeup is enough for him to pass convincingly as a woman. It’s sort of critical to the story line.

NP Harris and his other half David make such a hot looking couple. Wonder if they’ll need a many/nanny anytime soon…
