After famously coming out to his dad and the world in a YouTube video, gay soldier Randy Phillips talked to MSNBC about how things have changed in the military since the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” one year ago. “It’s been great not having a to lie about anything, being able to be who I am,” Phillips says. “I think life has changed personally a lot, but my job really that hasn’t interfered with it whatsoever and hardly comes up as the topic. I think that’s how it should be.”

Someone should tell Mr. Phillips that his 15 minutes of fame is up
Freddie27
@miagoodguy: Someone should tell you to shut your pie-hole and respect the men and women who risk their lives protecting assholes like you.
Dakotahgeo
@Freddie27: AMEN! Do I hear an “AMEN”??? Yup..lots of them!
miagoodguy
You mean the men and women in my family that serve in the military (a couple who have died)? I still think he needs to realize his 15 minutes of fame is over.
Dakotahgeo
@miagoodguy: I beg your pardon! Millions of family members have lost relatives to wars. My only uncle died in WWII! His 15 minutes of fame will NEVER be over. Neither will Randy Phillips’ fame be over when he dies. Such nonsense!(miagoodguy… get over yourself!!! Who cares?!
