Pentatonix, winners of NBC’s The Sing-Off, have released a cover of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ latest single, “Can’t Hold Us.” The a cappella group has released a number of covers, including Gaga’s “Born This Way,” since appearing on the show but this is definitely one of the most energetic. The video, which has only be on YouTube for less than two days, has already racked up 2.3 million hits. Whew, that’s some fandom.
The group also announced PTX Vol.2, which they hope to have out soon.
Meanwhile, Macklemore and crew are up for a number of MTV VMAs this weekend, including Best Video with a Message for “Same Love.” The show airs on Sunday, Aug. 25.

I wasn’t familiar with the song, but the group is great. The guy wearing the knit cap,which we call a toboggan-it’s a southern thing, has nice eyes.
