Queerty is better as a member
Attorneys Ted Olson and David Boies, along with their clients in the case of Hollingsworth v. Perry — couples Kris Perry & Sandy Stier and Paul Katami & Jeff Zarrillo — discuss marriage equality in front of the Supreme Court.
He’s saying there was no opposition, but when you say something like gay marriage should be decided at the state level that is the same as opposition to me. Gay Marriage needs to be legal in every state. We don’t need to have people flying from here to there just to get married because it’s not legal where they reside. The Supreme Court needs to get it together. This is a human rights issue that should be at the federal level. Stop trying to pass the buck by letting the states decide. Dumb ass government. They need to be looking at it from a money perspective like they do almost everything else. Gay Marriage is good for business and brings in money and potentially new jobs.
Religion in civil law is burdensome.
@1EqualityUSA: I completely agree, and I am a spiritual person. But it needs to be kept out of civil matters.
