I was at the Oscars the night She showed up with Michael (and sang that song from Dick Tracy). I was standing there looking at Tom Cruise thinking about how short he was when some blonde lady pushes me aside “excuse me, excuse me” she says, so I do because Madonna is the woman saying it and she is right in my face, and she’s holding Michael Jacksons hand and pulling him through the crowd like he’s a new toy. And again I was surprised to see how tiny Madonna was, except Michael who looked about 5’9″? It was a bizzare evening for a guy who grew up in Iowa thats for sure….
