We might have seen the twist in this ad for the Renault Twingo coming, but we’re bitter old queens who watch thousands of commercials. Still its nice to see a major car maker be inclusive.
Even if it’s a French car company.
And even if it’s got a somewhat-dated “the times they are a-changin'” type tagline.
Okay, we’re not gonna bitch about it anymore. Just watch the damn ad!
How about we take this to the next level?

renault needs to up their reliability gay ad or not. Their products are Notorious for reliability issues. And while the Renault brand is no longer in the States, their philosophy is. It’s unfortunately marketed under the Nissan brand since Nissan/Renault’s partnership in 1999. As a result several of Nissan’s makes have taken a serious blow in the reliability dept. be extra careful when buying a Nissan. Some are Renault’s in disguise. Others are Nissans with Renault workmanship/ philosophy infused into it. Renault’s are not built to last with problems along the way. And unfortunately, some Nissans have followed suit. Maxima’s are no longer the ” most reliable family sedan” as they once where. They have fallen midpack. The Quest, Titan and Armada have racked up years of problems. The early Murano’s and Pathfinders started out decent their first year and have aged horribly.
All of this has Renault written all over it.
So thanks for the gay Ad Renault. Now go fix your “ghey” cars!!!

@Chad: Ummm, talk about absolutely totally missing the point…
I thought it was a great ad.

This car isn’t big enough to hold my jock. And it would probably explode and burn the driver to death before they could escape like a can of cooked meat.

@Kylew:
Oh ok so when ur Renault/ Nissan is continuously breaking down, leaving u stranded and requiring expensive repairs, not to worry. This is the company that produced their gay ad for ya.
I didn’t miss the point, Kyle. Equality matters and their ads are showing that. Kudos! But reliabile cars also matter, and my post is showing that.
