We know it’s essential but is there anything more sleep-inducing than discussing healthcare providers? Apparently, we’re not alone so our friends at Full Frontal Freedom, the brilliant anti-PAC artist collective have teamed with Out2Enroll to cleverly enliven the conversation by parodying a popular holiday tune and, naturally, enlisting some some scantily-clad Santa’s helpers. .
Chris Labonte from Out2Enroll spoke to Queerty about the impetus for the project.
“Recognizing that talking about health insurance can be dull and boring, we wanted to take advantage of the season and create something that was fun and festive,” he says. “So, ‘Get Enrolled’ was born. It’s simply meant to spread the word about the upcoming deadline for enrollment to a segment of the LGBT community. We’ll be back with more videos and photos over the next few months so that everyone in our diverse community gets the message to Get Enrolled!’”

Under the “Affordable” Care Act, my insurance premium went up 80% and my deductible went up 150%. Not surprising, considering Obama-logic: Rate hikes equal “affordable.”

Healthcare costs are mind-blowingly complicated. I hope the Affordable Care act is helping some people. For my situation it has been harmful, but I can deal with it. How many people work full time in medical billing in the U.S.? That’s a huge added cost!
