Now that all the marriage-equality argument at the Supreme Court is done, is there anything left to get excited about?
Oh goodness yes.
First of all, there’s AFER’s backstage glimpse at how the plaintiffs and lawyers kept busy in DC. And then there’s the slow, steady stream of politicians coming out to support the freedom to marry. Six senators joined our side in just the last week! One of them was a Republican!
And of course, as usual, there’s a whole slew of new surveys showing progress from coast to coast. California! Utah! New Jersey! We haven’t won yet and there’s still plenty of work to do, but victory’s most definitely in sight.
