Stephen Colbert joked that Mitt Romney should pick anti-gay Iowa Rep. Steve King as his running mate on last night’s Colbert Report.
One of the most outrageous things that Rep. King has said is that gays should keep their sexuality a secret from employers. “If you don’t know someone’s sexuality,” he said in an interview, “you can’t discriminate against them.”
Responded Colbert: “Hear that, gays? It’s up to you to keep us from discriminating. Because once we know you’re gay I have a natural desire to fire you. And, unlike gay, discriminating is not a choice.”
The segment also features a guest appearance by Colbert’s hunky cameraman Julian (right), who operates the heavy machinery with his shirt off.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
This also brings up an interesting question: think Romney has ever fired anyone for being gay or effeminate?

Think Obama has gay or effeminate best friends? What an idiotic piece.

I say, No. Because that would mean Romney would have to actualy have eye contact with the people he fires. Romney is not that kind of person. Romney buys out a company and says ok you are all fired. He doesn’t actually look at people.l
