WATCH: Alaska, Jinkx and Roxxxy Turn It Out with Mother Ru in “The Beginning”

This may be the greatest RuPaul’s Drag Race music video ever.

Maybe it’s because we’ve been tantalized with “The Beginning” (ironically) at the post-elimination “Can I get an amen” end of every episode. Maybe it’s because there’s enough shtick in this video to give Don Rickles tendinitis. Maybe it’s because the final three gals are perhaps the most likeable of all the seasons. Even at her worst, Roxxxy Andrews always has another wig under her wig to save her from deathdropping into Phi Phi O’Hara territory.

Whatever it is — best Drag Race music video ever. Which, let’s be real, isn’t saying a lot.
