WATCH: The Cliks Are Here to Get Dirty
Canadian group The Cliks are not necessarily the ladies (and one transman) you want to bring home to meet mother. But they don’t want to meet her, either. Lucas Silveira, Jen Benton, and Morgan Doctor, who toured last year with Cyndi Lauper, release their new video for “Dirty King,” off their same-titled record. Their label, Tommy Boy, would appreciate it if you didn’t pigeonhole them into “queer band” status. Visit The Cliks on MySpace.
I dug the slow-motion effects and the song is better than average.
I usually don’t have the attention span to watch an entire music video. I don’t know, maybe because I’m 21 and high off energy drinks. None the less, I ended up watching the whole thing. Maybe I’m patient now because I just had sex and my emotions are up :)
