“Hell yeah I’m gay / And I don’t care what people say / Hell yeah I’m gay / And I will never change my ways.” And so begins my new personal anthem! Or rather, it’s the (new?) track from … actually, I have no idea. And that’s where I need your help! I’m always on the search for pro-gay songs that aren’t, well, crappy and cheesy (e.g. Reichen Lehmkuhl’s “Up To The Sky”). And with lyrics like, “Society hates me / ‘Cause I love the pussy / Church is scared of me / ‘Cause to them, they think I’m the devil’s parody,” well, that’s exactly what “I’m Gay” isn’t. (And check out the closing shot, with the t-shirt for Mitrice Richardson.) From the opening credits we see the video is a production of DJ and music video proudcer Marcus “CRASH” Miller, but that’s as far as the clues lead me. Who are this proud ladies?
wow…thanks!!!

I love the song with 2 tiny exceptions…
1.The verse goes: Hell yeah I’m Gay “BUT” I’m here to stay”
Why was the conjunction “But” used? It implies that being Gay is Bad. The verse should have used “AND” instead of “BUT”..
2. I didn’t like the She-Drag outfits of the rappers. The Dike appearance only plays into stereotypes.. I needed more Lip Stick Lesbians in this video…
That is all!

I would love to have seen some guys sing this song. But, as we know, the music industry is exceptionally homophobic towards male-male sexuality. Even the liberals in the music industry are hostile towards male-male sexuality.

Also, why didn’t Marcus CRASH Miller make a video showing guys singing this song? Is he homophobic towards men? It wouldn’t surprise me in the least. The men in the music industry are extremely hostile towards male homosexuals and male bisexuals. Even the concept offends them.

To all the people who say this song/video needs this or that: it’s a small vid for a fun song featuring a small group of people. It doesn’t need to represent the whole of the gay and lesbian population to make a statement.
I’d love to know who this is, too. Keep us updated if you find out!
