As life starts to get back to normal following Cory Monteith’s death, TV and film studios will have to figure out what to do with the actor’s final work. Glee has already made the decision to do a tribute episode before taking a hiatus. Meanwhile, McCanick, one of Monteith’s final films, released a trailer ahead of its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. The film tells the story of Simon Weeks, a drug-addicted criminal, who was just released from jail when he’s chased down by a narcotics detective (David Morse, The Green Mile).
McCanick will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 9. Monteith’s other film, All The Wrong Reasons, is also scheduled to debut at TIFF.
