With a final production value estimated at $14, Madonna’s new video for “Celebration” arrives after some terrible teasing. Them’s some pointy shoulder pads, lady.
The video is a little disappointing. It’s very much like Give it 2 Me, which was boring. She has been making not too exciting videos lately for great dance songs, get together anyone? I understand that she’s on tour and doesn’t have the time, but surely she could have came up with something more than this? I had always hated Jesus until this video though…Jesus! I love this song and now that the video is out I can’t wait to dance to it even more! S4 here I come!

Maybe its just that no one watches videos anymore. Its not like they get played on MTV or anything. She probably figured it would just be on in the background in some club, so why go all “Like a Prayer”?

all the queens nationally will be crying on the dance floor as this will be the last song played this coming Labor Day Weekend.
The Summer is traditionally over….Boo Hoo!
Zzzzzzzzzzzz…. Dizzyspins is right: who makes videos anymore? They don’t get played, so why make them? She should not have bothered here either. It was such an unambitious rehash of crap she’s offered up before. The songs okay in that forgetable club way, but I’m just not feeling her midlife crises as much as she is.
I personally didn’t like the video myself…but the song is still kick ass. The video is fast paced, plays into her current theme, and at $14…was very cheap to make. Like previous posters, it is all about the music and the video is just a back ground item now. As the old saying goes, “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.”
Am I the only one who finds this lame? The guy in the beginning is gross and made me lose interest right from the start, and they are they are part of a Yelle music video. That shit was so 2 years ago. She needs new video material.
Well… Im suprised Queerty isn’t bashing Madonna this time—–Thank God! I think the video is awesome, and not just because I’m a Madonna fan but its a really great video!
@red phone: Is that really little Lola?!!! Wow, that’s really cool. And yeah, that was a great move.
That being said, DAMN Madonna is LIT!!!! But she’s still got some moves on her.
I could never dance like…shit I can barely dance at all, let alone like that.
@drewbrown: And yeah, I agree with you, Madonna is eternally cool.
@stevenelliot: I agree with you too. It’s a great outfit. It’s kinda funny though isn’t it? She was just starting her career when this look was brand-spanckin’ new in the early 80s and nearly 30 years later she can still make it look good.
By the way, I think she’s wearing a wig. I don’t think that’s her real hair.

Madonna use to have class, but this video reminds me of a movie of a young girl forced to follow in her over the hill prostitute mothers footsteps.
Personally, I think this video has no taste…By the way, does Madonna still write childrens books???

I like it. I didn’t like anything from her last album, but i liked this song and video.
Two words: Lady Gaga
Vile. I see her obsession with her crotch is still strong as ever.
Love it. And Lola busted out a cool move there near the end!
First she co-oped my religion, and now she stole my “going into a glucose shock” dance. Bitch.

Co-opTed. Glenn Beck, anyone!
Madonna – she lady!
production cost was only $14. ??
@CHEEKIEY: no, that’s just Queerty trying (and failing) to be clever. per usual.

~Internet killed the video star…~ lol.
I loathe her.

regardless of what you think of the video. You guyz must admit Ms M’s outfit is hot. Very French Chic. and I like her new hair style.

@stevenelliot: Agreed. She is like a deviant Doris Day. Big A+ for Madge’s footwear choice.
