WATCH: Two Men Give Crowd Gay PDA, Get Thrown Out Of Santorum Rally

The phrase “Santorum kiss” would normally sounds a little gross and kinky, but now can refer to throwing a monkey wrench in a right-wing event with a same-sex display of affection. Two right-on dudes snuck into Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum’s rally Friday night at the Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights, IL, and—after getting everyone’s attention my shouting “Mic check!”—got into some serious lip-lock action. (Jump ahead to 3:35 if you don’t want to stomach the rally itself.)

The stunt was part of a larger protest by the Carmel Catholic Alumni Against Rick Santorum Facebook group, whose organizer, Matt Muchowski (right), said:

“We feel it is important to counter Santorum’s anti-gay hate, to set an example to students. Rick sends a message of bullying, but we want high school students to know that other alumni send a message of equality.”

We don’t know the names of these two Romeos, who were quickly dismissed from the event, or even if they’re gay. We just know we’d like to plant a kiss on both of them ourselves.

You go boys!

They shouldn’t have left so easily. Hearing those closed-minded holier-than-thou Santorum
supporters cheer for themselves as those guys were escorted out turned my stomach.

That guy with the long hair seems straight. Maybe he just did this to protest.

With the crowd shouting U-S-A as they left. There is no place for homosexuality in their America.

@Adam: “With the crowd shouting U-S-A as they left. There is no place for homosexuality in their America.”

      1.

      Undermining
      Santorum’s
      Ass

      2.

      Uneducated
      Santorum
      Allies

      3.

      Unplugging
      Santorum’s
      Anus

      4.

      Underachieving
      Santorum
      Appreciators

As you can see, U-S-A can stand for so many things. Take your pick. I’m pretty sure America has a place for homosexuals… just not in the midst of the Unified Santorum-supporting Assholes (there’s another for you.)

It actually suggests a clever tactic. Send gay and gay-friendly straight couples to Santorum’s campaign events and have them *all* kiss. It would put him in a real bind. If he only kicks out the gay couples, it makes the discrimination obvious, but if he kicks out both, then you see him kicking out straight people for kissing which would make him look like a prude, even to homophobes. If he simply ignores the kissing, then he gets nailed by the “social conservatives” for letting same-sex kissing go on at his events. He ends up losing no matter what he does.

To make this work, they have to kiss but do nothing to disrupt the event – otherwise there is a legitimate excuse to eject them. If there are “noise makers”, they have to be clearly not part of the group doing the kissing. The whole scene would make Santorum really good Stephen Colbert/Jon Stewart fodder. Be sure to send copies of the video to those two guys!

This is great! I really don’t like hearing Americans saying America is the greatest nation in the world- it’s not- and making meaningless statements about freedom- people aren’t any freer in America than anwhere else in the world.

OMG I couldn’t watch much of this hate fest. The government give benefits to those that need it. I myself have SSI and I would be living on the streets if it wasnt for that. So screw you Santorum. America has it’s faults but at least there are people out there that are thinking of the less fortunate. In terms of the gay kiss it was needed to say that we are here always have been and we aren’t going anywhere. I dont care what those two guys sexuality is they did a good thing.

The fact that Santorum thinks he has a chance, makes me laugh.
The fact that some people support him, makes me more aware of human stupidity.
