Union J, the British X-Factor boy band boasting a gay member, premiered the video for “Carry You” this morning, which will be the first single from their debut album scheduled to release later this year. The video has received rave reviews so far, but since these boys caused quite a fuss ’round these parts last week, we’re anxious to see what you have to say.
Check out Union J skateboarding, shopping, performing on stage, and being generally cuter than any other boy band in recent memory. The only way this dimple factory could be any cuter is if Zayn Malik became the band’s fifth member. WE WOULD FREAK.
In case you’re wondering which one is Jaymi Hensley, the openly gay member, here you go:

Good standard Boybandery perfect for the market. Best of luck to them.

Cute. I could get into boy-bands.

lol @ the scene of the openly gay member inside of a record store. I didn’t realize you could download songs from one of those old and dusty places! I also didn’t check his t-shirt, but I’m sure the wardrobe designer picked out some glammy, modernized deal from Urban Outfitters reading “RAMONES” or “MC5.”
It was very funny in that the horribly auto-tuned vocals sound out of place coming from the kid that’s mouthing them. Funny disturbing. Like, a domestic pet saying “I love you.”
The video is perfectly matched for this cliched song, and because of that it is not crap.
For the longest time I’ve wanted to be a Svengali to an all-gay boy band. I’d call them the Pen Caps and it would be awesome.
