Congratulations to all the couples! These people are many times more brave than riduculous folks like Sean Hayes. These are real people willing to live their lives. Good for them and Good for DC!

Note to Maggot Gallagher (I know you are watching!) This is what happily married couples look like, maybe you should study real hard instead of your sham of a marriage with your “husband” Houdini. I realize thats not his actual name, but considering he always disappears it kinda sorta fits…….

@terrwill: Ditto. To finally witness gay people publicly profess their feelings for one another and be acknowledged by the city is a joy. It is a happy day.
Look up Maggie Gallagher’s bio in Wikipedia. I am shocked to learn that she is a Yalie, that she has had one or more “love children” without benefit of matrimony, and that she advertised this in an op -ed piece defending Dan Qualye’s opposition to the Murphy Brown episode about Murphy becoming preggers while un-married. Maggie’s hubby sounds like he may be Russian.
Maggie is a Dr Laura type, who lived one way, had a religious conversion to go another way, and wants to crucify everyone after them who does not agree. Dr Laura’s beaver shots are still available all over the internet from her old live-in boyfriend.
Why did you have to remind us about Dr. Laura’s intimate photographs? I just got a migraine headache thinking that there may be some of Maggie out there in cyberspace.
Washington DC is now the gay and lesbian wedding capital of America. I’m so proud of my hometown.
Oh happy day. Oh happy day… Tearing up here… Thanks for posting the pictures, Queerty. So proud of the nation’s capital city!!!!
Hey why didn’t the gay dudes kiss? They must have seen that episode of Sara Silverman. lol
All I can say is “PEACELUVNBWILD”!
Congrats all. Great day for DC, for LGBT and for African Americans alike.

Congrats to the newly weds!
My husband and I were lucky enough to get married in time in California.
The fight will go on until there will be equal marriage rights for all in all 50 states!
Oh this is soo touching.
Im sure a polygamist can bring an equal amount of tears to our eyes. Or maybe an incest couple or some cute couple from NAMBLA.
Sniffle
Waiting on for nyc now

Congrats to all those who made this possible. I wish all the married couples the best of luck and great happiness.
Tears. I’d kill for Tina’s dress. Stunning!
Congratulations to the beautiful couples and their families ! The happiness shines through the photos !!
Well I will just say I would be interested to hear from these two “reverends” and their Biblical interpretations on marriage.
