It appeared that the male cheerleader character Went played on the tv show Popular was intended to represent a “Gay” character at first. But then the show apparently decided to “not go there” and seemingly pulled back on the character. I think if you look at video of Went on Popular it would be hard to say (which a straight face) that that character wasn’t a gay character or to not at least suspect that Went himself was gay. Of course, there are probably still a lot of people who don’t suspect that Went is Black.

My father isn’t oppressive and he’s done his best to ensure my and my brother’s happiness, health and financial success, taking us to the best schools and I’ll forever be grateful to him for that.
I want to have the traditional family, being the only man in the house, making all the decisions etc. All the male lover has to do is keep me sexually satisfied and I’ll provide him with anything he wants, assuming he isn’t so financially empowered, even if he is, he’d just have to know his place and make a move when I give him the greenlight, other than that, he’s to stay hidden. Having both a man and a woman bow down to me; I love it! The woman’s job is simple: bear me children and stay married to me.
I know it’s a slightly selfish way with which to live, but it’s the greatest and best way I plan to lead my life. Dad will love the girl, I’ll get to pass on all he’s taught me, his last name, clean bloodline and my bank account will dramatically swell with his touch, so why the hell not?
