We’re Not Inclined to Believe Anything David Unger Tells Us

When we heard last month that David Unger (pictured, right) was being shown the door as the head of Window Media and Avalon Equity by the Small Business Association (which helped sink $38 million in federal loans into Avalon), the media mogul fired off an angry email to this website denying our report and making threats. Funny, because on July 1, we heard Unger announced his “resignation” to the staff. On July 2, Window Media’s own Southern Voice reported Unger was leaving the building, effectively giving COO Mike Kitchens and CFO Steve Myers the run of things. Unger is supposedly leaving Window “to pursue another position in the finance industry.” Let’s hope that job description doesn’t carry prerequisites like “honesty.”
