West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman Doesn’t Yet Know If His Council Seat Is Safe From The Young Gays

Yesterday’s West Hollywood City Council elections — which have drawn international intrigue thanks to all the drama between The Old Incumbents v. The Young Challengers — took place yesterday, but the vote isn’t finalized because provisional ballots have yet to be counted in the narrow race for three open seats. John Heilman, the 26-year council veteran who serves as WeHo’s mayor, appears to be in third place, but IT’S ANYBODY’S TO LOSE! Whatever, keep this election undecided as long as we can — I’m just loving all the stories about how Heilman and other council members allegedly misused their taxpayer-funded credit cards on $75 wild salmon dishes at posh eatery Cecconi’s.
