What If Everyone In New York Started Dressing Like Nicki Minaj?

She might have pissed off The Catholic League, but riotous rapper Nicki Minaj has charmed Paper magazine. The stylish NYC periodical dressed up a crew of gorgeous models (male and female) in typical Minaj attire—cotton-candy wigs, Day-Glo makeup, glamor-ho clothing—and set them loose in various New York destinations. As awesome as the photos are, we’d love to find out what the reactions were from passersby at Port Authority, Sardi’s, Duane Reade and other Big Apple locales.  View the entire photo spread here.

      Ugh. Please leave it to Ms. minaj. One is enough. These models look ridiculous, and many of them are flat out oogleh.

      Don’t know much about her, but she seems to pull it off way better than the models. Then again, she doesn’t have the dead eyes of starvation induced catatonia to have to work around. ;)

      @Matt: YES!

      Also: “we’d love to find out what the reactions were from passersby at Port Authority, Sardi’s, Duane Reade and other Big Apple locales”

      You can see the reactions already in the pictures. No one in New York gives a fuck what you look like. Maybe some one will look for a second but then they’re over it and they move on because, what ever, it’s New York.

      There is already a place where people dress like her. It’s called Tokyo.

      I don’t think the catholic get up was her idea. If you’re going to blame anyone blame the grammy writers and producers.
