Which Abhorrent Countries Does The UK Think Are Safe Enough To Ship Gays Back to?


If asylum applicants from any of the following countries try claiming to United Kingdom immigration officials that they’ll be targeted for their sexuality or gender identity, they can expect to be turned away: Jamaica (ahem), Nigeria (uh), and Ghana (ugh). Applicants claiming “sexual orientation” as their reason for asylum will also not be granted an automatic right to appeal. [illustration via]
