BLIND ITEMS — “We heard that an Oscar winning film from LAST year has a leading actor that didn’t get the part too honestly. The actor, (who wasn’t nominated himself) allegedly got the part by sleeping with the director. Apparently that old couch-casting stuff still goes on! More surprising, the actor claims to be straight….” [Buzzfoto]
This is Not so difficult: 2009 directors:
James Cameron: straight, assholy so!
Kathryn Begelow: woman, ex of Cameron!
Lee Daniels: gay but no mayor male roles in movie precious!… Lenney k big favor!
Jason reitman : George clooney to big a star
Tarantino: best guess: not Brad but one of the of the many hot guys in the movie!!

So how many Oscar Winning films were there last year? I counted 15 different films……but then I got bored and decided I don’t give a shit
·
Colin Farrell in Crazy Heart (directed by Scott Cooper)?
Tim McGraw in The Blind Side (directed by John Lee Hancock)?
Rupert Friend in The Young Victoria (directed by Jean-Marc Vallee)?
Chris Pine, Anton Yelchin or Karl Urban in Star Trek (directed by J.J. Abrams)?

Which Straight Actor Scored A Lead In An Oscar-Winning Movie By Sleeping With The Director?
All of them?
·
I’m an actor in the film biz and it would have to be a mighty powerful director because it’s the producers who have the ultimate say on the casting in most films. I know, because I’ve seen many actor friends get parts from sleeping with a producer.
·
Nicholas Hoult? A Single Man.
But that movie didn’t win an Oscar it was only nominated. This blind item is to vague.

This is wonderful news and I am so glad that the President has taken advantage of the insanity in the world to do this. The fact is, when something goes wrong, everyone likes to pile on the President. The gay community has been so quick to turn their backs on him because it has not gotten all of it’s demands met out of the gate. Call it an “reelection” tactic but I think the President first waited to make sure that the DOJ could defend itself in courts in case it got sued and second, took advantage of all the HUGE news stories to slip this in under the radar. Once this news story is cycled out of the news cycle, he’ll be able to go on with his daily business knowing that he has made it easier for “active gays” to get out their and fight for their rights.

Well it depends, do they mean Oscar winning as in “Best Picture” or do they mean Oscar nominated as in “Best cinematography” But the winner last year was The Hurt Locker.
So this could be a B.S. blind item since the director of the movie is a woman.
