White House LGBT Staff: One Day, You Too Could Sacrifice Many Of Your Morals To Work In Politics

Hey, gay kids out there? There’s a possibility that if you survive torment during your youth you might one day become like Brian Bond, who gets pissy when you criticize his boss. That, or you could wind up with one of these other government jobs, but perhaps when you get there your employer won’t consider your same-sex partnership to be invisible. It’s not the fault of any of these staffers, but the message comes from an administration that actively endorses discrimination, and I still have a hard time reconciling that with a message of, “Look how good we have it!”

Will McCains openly gay chief of staff Mark Buse be doing one of these?

They need to start sexing up these paid political ads. Get some hotter people and some better music. It’s the same damn U2/Arcade Fire type crescendo rock every time.

“an administration that actively endorses discrimination”

What bullshit. You don’t even know what that means.

These “It Gets Better” videos are getting dangerously close to making me want to kill myself. They are so completely mundane and boring that they truly do dull people into depression.

So far, there have been only two worth mentioning. The rest are done by gays that I wouldn’t want to be anything like, and they send the message that it suddenly gets better even if you do nothing to make it better.
