Who’s That Girl?

Oh, just a little somebody named RuPaul, all dressed up as Barack and Michelle Obama with nowhere to go — except Logo, where her new reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race (think America’s Next Top Model meets drag) debuts in February. Who should Ms. Thang impersonate next? Donna Brazile? Missy Elliot? Condi Rice? Click for larger.

Love how Logo has it’s finger on the pulse. Is it 1993? Rupaul is so retro and not in a good way.

Luke is the perfect example of what’s wrong with this culture. Everything and everyone is disposable. We love you one minute and we hate you the next.

      go rupaul!
it’s easy to explicitly embrace p. e. obama, now that the election is over, right?
      i kid because i love!
We are all disappointed that obama chose rick warren to deliver the inaugural invocation, but let’s not forget our prodigal gay brothers and sisters who aided the right wingers in hounding sen obama to leave his church of 20 years, whose liberal, educated, war veteran pastor jeremiah wright was a longtime supporter of gay rights and gay marriage.
obama’s church, trinity, was famous for holding gay commitment ceremonies and boasts a sizable gay presence in its congregation.
in the upcoming inauguration rev. wright might have been delivering the invocation instead of warren – and perhaps denouncing CA’s prop 8 from the (bully) pulpit -
but some folks we know forced obama to “throw him under the bus”, as the children say nowadays…
can we admit here that the gays missed a big opportunity when so many of us rejected rev. wright out of fear & pride?
that pesky “gay pride” is some volatile stuff!
gay people, let’s be smart and concentrate on reaching out to conservatives with respect and compassion.
rupaul rocks and i can’t think of a better ambassador from the LGBT communities toward the Black communities.
Black people love Us some rupaul, i’m only saying.
can World of Wonder please do a reality series where rupaul joins an atlanta megachurch and choreographs the choir, like whoopi goldberg in sister act?
      stand, kneel, model, vogue.
      what?
      peace. peejo

      Luke-
What is your problem? What is it about Ru that disturbs you so much?
What have you done for your community?
Just curious. I’m sure you’ve done nothing.
