Immediately what leaps out at me (apart from the godawful grammar) is that there is a big difference between someone who’s gay and and someone who follows a sky pixie ideology – namely that one does not choose to be gay, whereas one does choose whether or not to follow an absurd belief in an imaginary friend up above the clouds.
It really is about time that we stopped being respectful of people who hold these absurd and nasty supernatural beliefs. If you want to believe in an imaginary sky pixie then what we should do is call the doctors in and have you taken away to a psychiatric institution for heavy medication until you are well again.

Ok I find it funny that any attempt to discuss an issue like this immediately degrades into a conversation like this. The article was about how focusing on the homosexual aspects of this type of bullying is offensive and actually serves to worsen the bullying. When I was a kid and we made fun of the gay kid it wasn’t cuz he was gay it was cuz he ran like a girl and we thought he was a fairy. I didn’t know what gay was. The point I am trying to make is do not respond to a forum post with ridiculous and polarized political rhetoric. All you hear in places like this is the typical responses from the left and the right. Either all gays are evil and need to die and deserve bullying, or anyone who believes in an afterlife or something bigger than us must be a fucking lunatic and be committed and therefore anything they say is invalid. Where are the reasonable people? Try to think about what u have read, think about it and provide a contribution to a discussion instead of just being part of a bleeding heart left wing political agenda. These are the people who make blanket statements like religious people believe in sky pixies or that all Christians are bigots. I do not see how this is any better than the right wing extremists who go to anti abortion rally’s and protest gay funerals. Develop a fucking opinion of your own not this everyone deserves everything cuz were all equal and we should all be happy.
