It is just Ecuadorian brothers greeting each other with a smooch on the cheek. Only in New York is there confusion between Ecuadorians and gay couples.

It would be a rather artistically boring cover if all the couples were presented in the same pose.
Alex brings up a good point. The gay couple is just about to kiss, but the interracial straight couple are only cuddling as they walk together. So why not complain about that too? Or, I dunno, just realize it’s a cover showing different types of love and stop whining over imaginary slights.
Where’s the coverage on actual gay characters and LGBT storylines in comics? RicxStar was such a huge freakin deal, with fans waiting over a decade for resolution, and there’s been barely a peep from you guys.

Go do your research. This is a sad excuse for social commentary.
meh. Ultimate X-Men had Colossus and Northstar as boyfriends, and Richter and Shatterstar kissed a few months back. This isn’t earth-shattering news.
Because he’s too busy eyeballing the much hotter butch-femme combo up front.
@Chryso:
In all fairness, that was the first couple to catch my eye. :)
Why not cover the fact that Rictor and Shatterstar were in bed together at the end of this month’s X-Factor issue? Isn’t that more of a story?
Two words: Batman Robin.
@Thomas:
Agreed. You might as well say why aren’t the black guy and girl kissing?Interracial loving? Too much for the kids…but also who even reads comic books.
@DR: And they had a lesbian couple Mystique & Destiny! X-Men’s the best!
“Why Isn’t Spider-Man Scoping Out The 2 Dudes Embracing?” … presumably because he’s the hottest guy there and everyone is ignoring him.
