Why Isn’t the FDA Asking All Americans If They Want Gay Blood?

The Food and Drug Administration has begun in earnest its review of its blanket ban gay blood donations. We know this because they’ve scheduled a meeting with the Advisory Committee on Blood Safety & Availability, the body responsible for making recommendations to the Department of Health & Human Services. And if they’re like a certain other government entity, they’ll survey all Americans to see whether the families of gunshot victims and bus collisions are open to the possibility of having their lives saved by some homo’s O-neg.
