Will Argentina’s Senate Follow Recommendation to Kill Gay Marriage Bill?

In a 8-6 vote, Argentina’s Senate General Law Committee recommended the Senate’s lawmakers reject a bill legalizing same-sex marriage after the lower House voted to approve it. The full Senate will vote Wednesday — and effectively seal the fate of Buenos Aires’ attempt to legalize it city-wide, and the fate of married (then “divorced“) couple Jose Maria Di Bello and Alex Freyre.
