I have no idea. I’m going to say, no comment. I’m going to dig myself in a hole.
—Chord Overstreet, the incoming Glee player and rumored (then debunked) boyfriend of Kurt, on whether he’d move beyond same-sex kissing on screen. For the record, Chord says, “I don’t know if I would be totally down with that outside of work. I’ve never kissed a guy before. But it’s acting. It’s kind of one of those things.” [via VF]
PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
Thought last nites episode was great…….New football coach Biest brings lotsa potential for great conflict with Sue…….
Chord has a pretty good voice (listen to his unautotuned work, its still good!) And is really hawt (nice shower scene) in a real offbeat way. He actually has unusual facial features (the Glee members even told him he has a really big mouth, Chris will you fill it? :p) which work with his overall look……

Debunked? (sadface)
PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
@7: Pretty sure its been “rebunked” ’cause Ryan Murphy said that Kurt’s BF would be a new football player……….
pete
@PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS: Oh but yes, we noticed the mouth!

Watching the episode right now.
God, he’s cute. Shame they kind of shoved an entire computer down his throat for “Billionaire,” his shower singing was adorable.
Meowzer
Absolutely adorable. Hope he does become Kurt’s boyfriend. It would be an interesting plot twist. The way he looked at Finn while the club was performing on the steps make me think a little. Was he attracted to Finn?
Loved the shower scene. He sounded much better than when he sang Millionaire, which wasn’t too bad either.
Hope he sticks around longer than the Jesse St. James character.
Sean
@PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS: He didn’t sound autotuned on Glee at all I thought.
PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
@Sean: I was adressing the inevitible comments which are yet to be posted… :p
Hilarious
@Sean: Everyone on Glee is auto-tuned. It really doesn’t bother me, but it’s definitely there. They want to sell music with the show and considering just how much of it they manage to sell copies of people seem to like the robotic “perfection”.
It’s actually a little sad though people are so used to auto-tune now that we can barely remember what real voices sound like. Oh and that little fact that it’s almost impossible to actually sing and dance at the same time.
@7: I agree on top of the fact that I hate that song so much and I can’t begin to explain why. I just do. Something about songs that are entirely about being rich or wanting to be rich really irritate me.
All that said I pretty much loved the episode aside from the Quinn parts who they seem to be making unlikeable again. I loved Quinn last season, but now she’s just a two-faced little rat.
And I know from now on not to read any interviews about Chord Overstreet because I refuse to let “I’m straight!” ruin my Curt and Sam lovefest. I don’t care that you’re straight Chord, convince me that Sam’s not.
Toby
Now I’m starting to think Chord Overstreet is gay…when you say stupid statements like “I’ve never kissed a guy before…”
Really? You never kissed your dad on the cheek? What about your Grandfather? No?
Seriously, Chord needs a better PR agent.
Hilarious
@Toby: Ironically they usually pick gay kids for these roles anyway and then force them to stay in the closet afterward.
Just look at the guy who played Marco on Degrassi and how they poorly tried to keep Chris Colfer in the closet until they all realized we already knew.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Chord is gay. In fact I’m betting he is because I can’t imagine them finding a young straight guy and risking a fortune to have to replace him later when he freaks out about having to kiss or be sexual with a guy.
Fitz
Pretty darn adorable.

This show is still relevant or interesting? What planet am I on? How much over-acting and teeny-bopper drama is too much?
They should remove all the female characters, except Jane Lynch, cut the storyline entirely, and just have the guys do musical numbers shirtless and this show might become tolerable again.
Baxter
@NAP79: The show is wildly uneven and too often slips into “very special episode” mode, but it’s still pretty enjoyable.

@NAP79:
Do not be a douche.
Just because you do not like, does not mean others do not or should be “ashamed” of liking it.
BillCooney
Glee is not a “reality” show. It is what it is. BTW, not crazy for the “Bieber Bangs.”
smith
He looks like Maculey Culkin. Maybe not so much in that pic but last night some scenes he looked like him, better of course.
nineinchnail
@BillCooney: I think Im the only gay on earth who thinks Glee is drivel with a triple serving of uber-cheesiness. Its stomach wrenchingly corny.

I still can’t get over how cute this kid is. He reminds me of the varsity wide receiver I had a huge crush on in high school. Oh, memories.

“On whether he’d move beyond same-sex kissing on screen”. First, that really doesn’t make sense. What does that mean? On screen frontage, on screen oral, on screen anal? Second, you perverted the original question and answer. This is the actually interview and quotes:
===========
There is rumored to be man-on-man kissing. You’d be down with that?
I don’t know if I would be totally down with that outside of work. I’ve never kissed a guy before. But it’s acting. It’s kind of one of those things. Currently you have to kiss a bunch of strange people in the world of film and television.
You have to kiss a bunch of strange people?
Throughout your whole career, there’s a bunch of people you might have to kiss. Say there’s this character opposite you, and you might not be into her—or him, personally. You just gotta’ do it. That’s your job.
And beyond? You’re willing to go full Brokeback?
I have no idea. I’m going to say, no comment. I’m going to dig myself in a hole.

I totally love the new addition to the Glee club! Sam’s adorable, chill, confident, and he & Kurt would make an incredible couple. In fact, they will be a couple. Jane Lynch let slip that Kurt’s new boyfriend is “adorable and blonde football player” or something.
There’s a casting call out for a member of a rival glee club named Blair that’s openly gay. I heard this on the glee forum, so take it however you will, but supposedly Kurt will visit a rival school undercover because they are the competition for Sectionals and find out that it’s very gay-friendly and contemplate transferring (I think by now it goes without saying that he’ll choose his friends over the gay friendlier school). That’s what this is for- not Kurt’s boyfriend, but for another openly gay student.
God I am such a dork -_-

@PopSnap: Don’t worry dude, you gots lots ‘o company :p I too find I spend waaaaaay too much time learning useless info to fill the cranium………..

Him and Finn would make a better couple….seriously….

Kurt’s a predator….

Now that the new Beastie kicked Finn off the football team, it paved the way for Sam to be starting quarterback. When Finn saw him singing in the shower, he said he couldn’t bring himself to go over and talk to him. Was this because Finn didn’t trust himself with a gorgeous guy who is nude in the shower? Just askin’ 🙂
But I guess I place my bet on Sam getting together with Kurt.
OMG, now that Blue Mountrain State has disappeared, this has got to be the gayest show on TV.

i hope he’s not his bf cause he is super hot and that would suck and it would be gross!
Ted
@Hilarious:
Listen to T-Pain, that’s auto-tuned. Of course, on the other’s night’s rendition of ‘Telephone’ it was very heavy on the effect, purposely. There’s a big diffence between a vocal affect than auto-tune. Auto-tune corrects pitch errors. There are a few programs out there that can “smooth” out a voice digitally, without affected the pitch. That’s where the “polished” sound comes from, in a lot of music today, not from auto-tune.

I Have an idea it will be cool if glee had an episode where its just the guys of glee where Will perfoms with them in a all Boy Episode with Shirtless Musical Number to Backstreet Boys Quit Playing Games With My Heart/ New Kids The On Block Step by Step, Justin Timberlake Rock Your Body, Adam Lambert If I had You & For Your Entertainment, and It’s raining Men.
