Will Juan Antonio Martínez Matos Eventually Be Labled Too Crazy to Stand Trial?
Jorge Steven López Mercado’s confessed killer Juan Antonio Martínez Matos has been deemed mentally unfit to stand trial for the grisly murder by a state psychiatrist, who wants Matos kept in a mental health facility. The judge overseeing the case has ordered another evaluation in early January. Perhaps because the psychiatrist is unable to tell whether Martínez is actually unstable, or just playing the part?
