I certainly hope so, because it’ll be quite some time before India’s Spice Up condoms, which come doused with extra lube, reach the States. [SF Weekly]

I’d try these to see how they feel

They actually work very well, the polyurethane they are made of, also allow body heat to transfer, unlike latex.
However, gang bangers be warned. A buddy of mine went to a group sex party where the bottom had a female condom in his ass. The tops just fucked him in the same female condom and wound up with chlamydia. One bad apple spoiled the whole bunch, lol.

@Qjersey: “where the bottom had a female condom in his ass” Gawd, that sounds just soooooo very wrong :-p

This thing sounds like a bad idea to me.
Also, QJersey, your friends could just as well have spread HIV among themselves also, with everyone dipping in there, with no condom on.

Wow. I’ve been out of circulation far too long. I’ve never heard of a female condom. Talk about an assbag…..

@Drake:

Why? They were originally invented for gay men:

Seriously, what the hell is the problem with just wearing a normal condom? Why is that so difficult for people?
Lynn
@ Mr. Enemabag Jones,
Your link mentions that India is developing a receptive condom specifically for gay men. However, female condoms have been around for at least 20 years. When I was in college, my friends and I passed one around to talk about it. I could be wrong, but I do think they were originally designed for women.
Lynn
oops… I forgot to mention, we decided that they were impractical.
El Brucio
@EdWoody: Well, for one thing, it puts contraceptive use directly in the hands of the bottom.
Due to some of the positions used, a bottom can sometimes have no idea whether the top is wearing a condom, or is just claiming to be wearing a condom, or was originally wearing a condom but took it off partway through having sex.
Also, some tops just don’t like the feel of regular condoms, so a female condom that the bottom has already applied to himself would benefit in that situation as well.
Though I am curious as to whether they are safer or not. Depending on the design, I do wonder if a mis-thrust on the part of the top could accidentally push everything inside.

The Chicago Female Condom Campaign, launched early last year, promotes female condoms for gay men as well as women and transgender people. Check out the website at http://www.ringonit.org.
