Fred Karger, the Californians Against Hate founder (and NOM watchdog), really wants to be your next president. An “independent Republican” one. Now before you start slamming a guy who clearly has no chance at ever sleeping over at the White House, let alone live in it, let’s hear the guy out. He’s spending $100,000 to run this 90-second ad in Iowa markets on Fox News, but he knows his fate is pretty much sealed as a losing candidate. That’s not the point, says Karger. He just wants to be invited to the 2012 Republican presidential debate. And hey, if the Democrats could find room for Mike Gravel in 2008 (well, only sometimes), then surely they can find room for Karger. If only for the ratings.

Maybe he should at least run for some lower political office first instead of skipping to President…what a crazy ego this guy has. No one would even be paying attention if it weren’t for the novelty of him being gay. Go back and run for mayor or state rep, then congress or governor, then get back to us, m-kay?
