Will the Los Angeles Sheriff Be Held Accountable for Mitrice Richardson’s Disappearance?

“The LA County Sheriff’s Department was grossly negligent, and the officers on that shift, grossly negligent in allowing her to leave and walk out without any form of communication with her family or friends,” says the attorney of Latice Sutton, whose lesbian daughter Mitrice Richardson went missing after leaving police custody — in September.

Latice is now suing, saying she has video footage of the county police witnessing Mitrice’s bizarre “altered state” behavior while in custody (more on that in the video from the LAT‘s Carla Hall), and then letting releasing her without a car, cell phone, or any belongings.

The Department of Justice finally began looking into the matter in May. And now so too will the civil courts.

Too bad she has the wrong skin color. Otherwise,
she’d be a household name like…..lets see; Natalie Halloway,
Jon Benet Ramsey, or Casey Anthony.

Yep, Gotta love our Criminal Justice System and the media
that’s suppose to hold them accountable.

      *rolls eyes*

      This story is horrible.
It disgusts me that I live in Malibu and only heard about this case every so often; but I turn on the TV and I can’t escape hearing about some kid that’s missing in Oregon, or some little girl who got kidnapped in Missouri. These cases are unfortunate as they’re children, but it’s quite obvious their popularity is fueled by the fact that they’re white.
