To celebrate Pride season, just around the corner, we’re giving away a trip to San Francisco Pride.
GayCities and our friends at San Francisco Travel will fly one lucky winner and a friend to San Francisco and a trifecta of twos: two night stay at Hotel Vertigo, two tickets to “Simply Barbra” and dinner for two. Oh, and did we mention a cruise of the Bay for two?
Enter now and we hope to see you at SF Pride.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

As usual, US only.

The Bay Cruise is nice. Hopefully the waterfront won’t be fogged in.

Love SF and have studied the history more than Houston. Harvey Milk is one of my heroes! I haven’t been there yet; however, there is a GREAT page where you can control the live cams. Pier39marina.com. You can watch Golden Gate, the seals, Alcatraz, the birds, boats… It’s a great website. I would love to live there.

@TerrenM:
Go and visit! It IS a great town! Though currently living in NYC, SF is home..hope to be back July-ish…
If you’re on a budget, Southwest flies into SFO and OAK, both accessible by BART and there are lots of hotel options or AirBnB. When you get to SF, STEER CLEAR of Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf. They have all the authenticity of Disneyland with the added charm of panhandlers. There are a lot of free things to do in town and just walking about is free. Y’know, it’s actually a small town. Doesn’t take too long to get anywhere on foot, often faster than taking a bus. And don’t limit yourself to downtown or the northeast parts of town…cool neighborhoods on either side of Golden Gate Park and within the park two renowned museums and the iconic Conservatory of Flowers. Western end of the park ends at Ocean Beach (NOT a lay-on-the-beach beach; very cold and windy usually).
Because I live there I’m not familiar with any of the webcams…seems like there’s one from the top of the pyramid but that might just be accessible in person from the lobby. Check to see if there are any cams from Embarcadero Center, Sutro Tower/Twin Peaks, Coit Tower…hmm…there are bound to be more than just Pier 39’s. Macy’s in Union Square might have one (or they ought to) or any of the hotels on Nob Hill (Top of the Mark ought to).

Is this open to Brits and others or just people from the US?
