Wone Murder’s Civil Case To Wait For Criminal Trial

2006-08-17_gauge_2253_3069“A D.C. Superior Court judge has ordered the postponement of a $20 million wrongful death lawsuit against three gay men implicated in the murder of Washington attorney Robert Wone. Judge Brook Hedge on Thursday effectively put the civil case on hold until criminal trial proceedings against the men are completed. Hedge approved a motion seeking a “stay” in the civil case that was filed by attorneys for gay defendants Joseph Price, Price’s domestic partner, Victor Zaborsky, and the couples’ friend and roommate, Dylan Ward. Price, Zaborsky, and Ward were indicted last year on obstruction of justice and evidence tampering charges in connection with the Wone murder.” [Washington Blade]

“The couples’ friend and roommate…”

That sounds like a mainstream press formulation of their relationship. Hasn’t it been clearly established that this group was a triad? That Price and Zaborsky were domestic partners with Ward as their master, or something like that? Shouldn’t the gay press tell it like it really is?

Make sense that the civil trial would have to wait until the criminal trial is over with.

The person who’s suing is Wone’s wife who wants the “truth” to come out…I have a feeling she doesn’t really want to know the “truth”…and will probably regret it coming out.
