In this case Obama is the man with the highest character, whose skin also happens to be black. The very fact that he has reached the place he has today is because of his character, not his skin. Racism is alive and well in the United States and a black man must
show a high level of character in order to ascend to the presidency.
We require more from black males than from white males. I believe that Obama wants to see this country become what our forefathers wanted it to be and that is a place where all humans are created equal and have the right to pursue life, liberty and happiness. McCain just wants to say he was president, thats it.

What is there to ask Daniel,

There are some caucasians who will NOT vote for Obama due to skin color? I wonder why. Would that be too much to ask them????

If some Blacks wish to vote for Obama based on that.

SO WHAT? It's their perogative to do so. Just like straights voting against protection for Gays.

Is that too bad to ask them why????

Oh goodness, Queerty.

They quoted Martin Luther King, Jr., when he said that we should judge people not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character. It is encouraging black Americans to ask themselves if they are voting for Obama because of his race or because of what he stands for.

Is it that bad to ask?
