Wyoming Couple Ends Lost Cause Lawsuit to Strike Down State Marriage Ban

David Shupe-Roderick and Ryan W. Dupree — the twentysomethings who decided to represent themselves in a federal challenge of Wyoming’s ban on same-sex marriage — are dropping their lawsuit, ending this chapter of one of the most ill conceived attempts to bring about marriage equality. It’s a sigh of relief for Wyoming’s gay activists, who always go unnamed in news reports and “weren’t available for comment Wednesday,” who found themselves spending time criticizing a gay couple instead of the lawmakers with the power to strike down the law. Worth noting: WyWatch Family Action, which wants to keep the marriage ban on the books, was available for comment: The lawsuit was “a wake-up call” that some people might, uh, challenge the law sometime soon, which is why they’re going to renew a push for a constitutional ban.

So Which side is Queerty on anyway? You bash people who try to do something then you turn around bash them when they don’t do enough or fail in their attempt. This is why the community as whole can’t accomplish a damn thing all “we” do is fight bitch and complain. We reap what we sow.

Great job, by Gay, Inc and the ACLU. Fight over a high school dance, pride flags or nose piercings, but when the REAL fight comes along, you are nowhere to be found.

This is why you no longer get any of my money. Like the Dems, no sense of leadership.
