Queerty is better as a member
I’ll give this to Lady Gaga. She has a face for radio.
@shle896: Lady Gaga is worth $190 million. She is the #1 celebrity giver/fund raiser. How much are you worth? How much have you done for others?
@scotshot: If she had a billion dollars and even if she gave it all away, she’d still make me puke, as well as the shallow a-holes who think there is art somewhere there!
@scotshot: jealous much miss thing???????
sorry @scotshot…. that was for @evoncook
Lets see. Gaga writes her own music, designs all her outfits, and can hold a note. I came out when Madonna was singing borderline. Gaga IS talented. I love her outrageousness. She’s not Cher, she’s not modanna, she’s Gaga.
Maybe Gaga isn’t fun for you; plenty of us are having fun with her!
I don’t understand how people can STILL say Gaga is ugly. Look at that first picture of her Versace ad. Are you freaking kidding me?!
@getbackjoe94: Oh just typical Queerty bitchery.
@shle896: Comment of the week. I still don’t understand why she has a cult following, although the words “media-hyped fraud” come to mind. Sure, Gaga can write a catchy tune that I don’t mind grinding to after one too many whiskey sours, but she’s pretty much all shtick. In trying so hard to be edgy and quirky, she moves all the focus from the music onto her.
Maybe this isn’t a new thing, but I really wouldn’t mind popular musicians who were, you know, musicians whose craft could stand on its own. I’m pretty sure John Lennon didn’t feel the need to be carried to the premier of Imagine in a f*cking egg. I’m also pretty sure Simon and Garfunkel didn’t have to wear matching meat suits to make Sounds of Silence a more provocative album. It’s called being an artist.
@getbackjoe94: I can assure you, the magicians manning the Versace computers could probably make me look like Jake Gyllenhaal. (Nerdy Zodiac Jake, not hunky marine Jake.)
